The movie episode was the best. So on the nose.
I watched that episode this morning it (and the whole trial one) were both spot on.
Star Trek trials are either very, very, good or very, very, bad. Sometimes both. Usually both.
Unlike the Hollyoaks one I had the misfortune to walk in on whilst the wife was watching it. Counsel robed in the magistrates and walking around during questioning, screaming in the witness’s face.
Just started Agents of SHIELD
This may have been the best trial scene in all of Star Trek.
I like being robed in the Mags. (The building mind you, not the actual court room.) you get a lot of stares.
Not as many as I got whilst robed getting on the tube at Hammersmith. Being a civil guy I rarely get to wear them and completely forgot about it, trial overran and I just ran for the train. Wasn’t until I got on the mainline at Clapham Junction that I realised why people were looking at me weird.
I can’t believe you ran with a robe on and didn’t get snagged on every protruding object on the way.
It really ruins the look of effortless gliding around Bristol Crown when you get snagged on the door handles.
It’s probably bad that I chose my career based on how many robes are involved, isn’t it?
Vicar? Or drag queen?
I got halfway through when I had a housemate with netflix… and now I don’t have netflix so have never finished it
I’ve heard ‘It’s a Sin’ is supposed to be very good. I haven’t started watching yet.
Just finished channel 5s ‘The Drowning’. It was entertaining but easy to predict.
It is excellent. But really upsetting at the same time…
Yes, I’ve heard it really hits home about 80s culture and homophobia in Britain. Although, I love 80s music. Sad thing is, I saw some homophobia in the Sun regarding the sexual scenes in the programme. One minute they called them obscene and the next they said the opposite, a bid to redeem themselves hoping no one would notice. I do not understand how anyone can read that tripe.
I’m going to start it tonight and will report back my feelings!
yes, this:
bunch of hypocritical, homophobic, click-baiting scum, cos obviously straight sex scenes are hot, but gay ones are totally sinful that daren’t be on terrestrial TV. 20 years after QAF.
I wouldn’t even wipe my backside with it.
(and also, maybe being brought up relatively near Liverpool post-Hillsborough has rubbed off on me somewhat…)
Paramount+ has Spongebob though, and that’s mighty tempting.
