George Clooney & Quentin Tarantino. Lots of blood, guts and action with a (somewhat cheesy) twist in the tale.

Just started Designated Survivor after it has sat on my watch list for a long time.
Episode one has grabbed me and I look forward to more!

How many seasons are there?
I tried Designated Survivor, but being a West Wing fanboy, all the storylines had already been covered. And the conspiracy angles just started to get silly.
I’m on the final series of West Wing for the fourth or fifth time round. But also watching Dexter so it’s a little confusing having Jimmy Smits as the goodie in one and the baddie in t’other

I agree. Buckles is arrogant but he ain’t corrupt.
I feel Davidson is corrupt but not for greed or genuinely immoral reasons, reference her throwing the glass at the photo of her Mam. I think she has anger towards her for possibly drawing her into police corruption.
As for Ryan Pilkington, he angers me just being on screen and I feel his arrogance during questioning is making his corruption obvious.

I think next weeks will see big reveals as we move into the 2nd half of the series.

I wondered if the writers might have him tapped up by OCG after he is ‘booted off’ due drugs.
He then becomes a super mole within OCG running into season 7…
Kate returns to ac12 to replace steve as DI and DC whatsherface is made up to Sgt.

Davidson is definitely up to her neck in it, but seems pretty anguished about it - there’s something we don’t know about her history.
Buckles… The obvious plot is a complete stitch up with him having no links and I feel it would be too convoluted for them to try to twist that around as it would then appear to rely too much on luck, ignorance, and incompetence. But they’ve made it a really obvious implication and they like pulling the rug on the obvious.
