What are you playing?

Looking forward to getting the Switch 2 and playing classic Nintendo with the kid.

Also finally getting him into board games. So much winning!

Personally I’d recommend ghost recon breakpoint, or Wildlands,

Got AC Shadows last week. If you like Assassins Creed you’ll like it!

As I can only really play for like an hour or two in the evenings once the kids are in bed, may take me a while to finish!

This thing is great. Highly recommend!

Now when I wake up an hour before by alarms, instead of doomscrolling an hour or reels, I can play an hour or City Skylines instead, which feels better for the brain :joy:

I’ve audi started a fresh Stardew Valley play though, such is always nice.

I’ve been torn between buying one of these or upgrading my personal PC. The issue I’m faced with is that I don’t really need an upgrade… I just want one :eyes:

What are you running, what do you play, how much use would you get from a handheld?

Threadripper 1950X, 64gb RAM and a 2080ti.

I have almost 3k hours in DayZ.

But I travel to and from Spain every couple of months to visit my parents so it would be handy for games on the go.

Very similar to me. 3900X with 2080S. Built in 2020 at the very start of the pandemic, and can still run pretty much anything, at least at 1440p. I’m certainly not looking to upgrade any time soon!

As for handheld or not, I wouldn’t have spent the £480 on the Steam Deck out of my own wallet per-se. But have wanted one for ages, and selling off all my old CSGO stuff easily got me enough to cover it. And that wasn’t ‘real’ money.

That feels like an old production workstation spec?

Would definitely agree you probably don’t need an upgrade performance wise, but is that not a bit power hungry?
