“Ozzy Osbourne? Is that the woman with red hair…”
This is sad but he had a hell of a life & having his farewell tour only a couple of weeks ago it feels timely.
He went out on top being who he was with a full concert - it just feels proper full circle.
Funeral likely to be an epic send off
DW its in my diary
Might be my favourite song on the album.
Probably mine too. Heard Consume first, that got stuck, but then Sharks replaced it.
In other news, also been playing “Last Resort - Reimagined” a lot recently. It’s like a complementary, opposite-emotion version that reflects the dichotomy of the subject.
My poolside audiobook is Unruly: A history of britains Kings & Queens by David Mitchell.
Hes made quite dull history hillarious

Severity of crime and level to which it is proven
The emotional impact of their music during a key stage of life

Watkins crimes were so far beyond the pale that it was impossible to seperate him from the music in the same way that no one still listens to Gary Glitter.
I remember Pete Townsend getting into some trouble a few years ago, and there’s no way I’ll stop listening to The Who.
Similar with Roger Waters and Pink Floyd.
My daughter wanted to see the Michael Jackson experience in Vegas and I never considered suggesting she shouldn’t.
Having looked at their discography & chart positioning were people listening to them in the first place?
I used to listen to them a lot when I was younger!
The Army used to love using *Last Train Home" as background music for their videos about tours in Iraq.
One about a 2004/05 tour by PWRR, particularly focusing on an attack on Comic House, was the first one I was given after joining. Our PTI had been shot through the wrist and neck during that engagement and loved showing it off.
In fact this is the video - https://youtu.be/0KlKQjJ8WRg - but I did have to turn my VPN to the USA to get around the copyright content block.
