I was told by the staff on my squadron you have to be 15 or older to wear your MAC badge, however after research, everywhere I have looked it says you have to be 16 or over. could someone please clarify this for me.

It is 15.
It used to be 16 but was changed to 15 on 10th April.

I do trust my staff, however when you get told different things by everyone else you can’t not be curious about who is correct. thank you for confirming it though.

It’s a pretty recent change so not many online sources will have updated, best to go with what squadron staff tell you (most times) as they’re normally equipped with the most up to date information, but if still unsure then you did the right thing and came to the forum. Welcome!
