Why is there no VGS in Wales? Surely this needs to be looked into? Welsh RAFAC cadets have to travel over 100 miles just to do gliding
There were mass closures of VGS sites in 2016. As well as Wales, the remaining VGS in Northern Ireland was also closed.
As for why? Same excuse as always; budget.

It is, there are irons in the fire but opening a VGS from scratch takes time.
