I use a molle battle belt as my go to, with a 4 point harness, rather than the traditional 6 point.

It was more for Nijmegen, but it’s a pig to get out.
On JL, it helped because staff don’t carry ammo, and the ammo pouches have to be empty, unless/in case we have smoke grenades, but webbing rides up if the ammo pouches are empty, so this is more comfortable.
