Has anyone any experience with getting water browsers from the military - preferably somewhere in the Shropshire area?

Usually have trailer amounted ones, pulled by Land Rovers

Can be a nightmare whatever you use. Loads of controls around safe use, legionella, supply source etc. MT can sometimes get them for units. What do you need/why?

An exercise I’m organising - in the past we have used Henlow, but it’s too far away due to too few drivers with landrover and trailer quals

Try contacting 159 supply regiment RLC
They were mostly catering and were based down that neck of the woods they may be able to assist.

Try private hire. It may be quicker and less hassle and not that expensive. £115 for a weeks hire for 250 gal. Delivered to site and collected. You could probably knock them down a bit.

TSW at MOD Stafford should be able to help… they will require at least a weeks notice to clean the butt… most are Sankey trailer mounted - i have done 4 day exercises with 70 bods and 1 refill - make sure they give you the refill kit, and tap kit
