Having to come here as a last resort. Newly promoted member of staff is after a WO No1 SD Cap size 57. Asked around a fair few Sqns, Wings, Stations (parent included), and none are stocking/able to sell/give a hat of that size.
Anyone able to help?
Equally, an Officer cap of Plt Off - Wg Cdr pattern would be just as useful!
Maybe it’s time to reduce the number of hats - there was talk of WOs just having the officer peak with the WO cap badge. Allow berets for officers too

Remove the need for any hat unless it’s PPE
Not a big fan of that idea - we are still a uniformed org - once we scrap hats it’ll then be rank slides and the RAF is civilian enough without that
Personally, I’d have berets as a Regt-only item and issue field service caps to aviators.
