Context is key - are you posting from North Korea or Iran because you are quite right that they do.
If you are in the UK….probably not.
It’s the overly policing of terms such as “English” and trying to put everybody into boxes & being lazy about it by just going on the way they look.
There is a local mindset in many parts of the UK that “foreign” is some not from the same town
There’s a whole bunch of people who want to Fly the flag, both England & UK. Due to the perception that they keep getting told that they can’t - either because it could offend non-English /British or because it’s been perceived as being taken over by the far right.
The flying of flags from Lamppost requires effort - do as long as it’s down safely & respectful I personally don’t care. The lazy painting of roundabouts in a slap dash fashion is the idiotic bigotry. There are a lot of people from a range of ethnicities who have been putting up the union flag on lamp post as they don’t feel that anyone is listening or looking out for their level of society.
It’s wrong to assume that everyone putting up the flags is a racist bigot but it’s as wrong (or even naive) the ignore that this was started by some bigots to divide us.

According to the guardian it’s just a company take over of the company that provide the machines. There is a commitment to have paper hand marked ballots which is probably harder to rig than a digital machine.
I wouldnt class this as rigging the system with out further evidence.
For me the line was crossed a long time ago with the introduction of these counting machines, mail in ballots for dead voters and people not entitled to vote, etc, etc.
Gerrymandering has been around for a long time in the States and isn’t exclusive to either side.
Their whole process is wide open to corruption. Unregistered voters can turn up and argue their case, cast a vote, and it’s decided later whether to count that vote or not. Try that over here.
Our system isn’t without its problems, but stacking the votes into piles that the candidates and their agents can see is much more open than machines of any description.
This one needs actual references, because I’ve read deep-dives into these accusations and have previously found them to be without basis.
It does feel a bit too close to “both-sides-ism” again though. Though I agree with you about the state of it generally. The gerrymandering is embarrassing in its transparency.
Also, what I’m really asking you about is your “Trump’s my choice every time” comment. At what point do you agree that authoritarianism becomes fascism and what are you ok with, without reference to or comparison with any other group?

Although the distinction between the man himself and his company doesn’t feel like a strong separation, unless I’m missing something.
The situations with Russia, the Middle East, and in the longer term China, all require strong leadership rather than what Biden and Harris were offering.

So the answer is that authoritarianism and fascism are necessary.
Even when they’re restricting freedom of speech, kidnapping without showing warrants, IDs, or doing due process, sending the national guard into other states, directing the AG to target political / general enemies, and the deputy chief of staff claiming the president has absolute power.
You’d have been ok with a Democrat doing any of that?

You know, when you employ someone to do a job for you, you expect them to do that job. Just like every politician on this planet, you vote for them thinking they will work for you, the people. Instead, once Trump was voted in, he got his bulldozer and started taking the country down from within. Sure, he has his enablers, and if you don’t enable, you get a nickname and you’re fired. I have friends, yes, actual friends, wanting to escape the US, and I have one over here who never wants to go back.
All Trump wants is to be on the TV 24/7, as stated by many who formerly worked for him and escaped or who were fired. He sulked about not getting the Nobel Peace Prize. All Trump wants is bling and pretty shelf toys. He’s an embarrassment who has divided the United States.
