Transferring CFC from one Organisation to Another

Hi All

Has anyone got sight of any official guidelines for transferring a CFC Commission from one Organisation to another, i.e. RAFAC to ACF?

I have had a look through the new AP1919A but it only mentions about transferring from one Sqn to another.

Can anyone shine any light?

Many thanks

Hi Factotum

Many thanks for your reply and info. Thats great.

Yep, that is what happened to one of our staff. You have to leave ATC and join the other Cadets Force.

Just a thought… If it is the same Commission why would you need to resign?

Were they written pre- or post- CFC?
I would expect the answer to appear in JSP 814, assuming that has been updated.

The idea behind this was that if it was found to be easier to get a commission in one of the cadets forces, they wanted to avoid people going into the ATC (for example) to get commissioned and then moving straight over to the ACF. The expectations of what the organisations want and their interview processes are so different.

Because it’s not the same commission anymore than an RAF commission is the same as a Land Forces commission despite both being military. An ACF and ATC commission are both Cadet Forces commission’s in terms of type but you are commissioned into one of the cadet forces, not all of them
