Why not have a thread dedicated to learning those small, simple things that you didn’t know?
TIL that whilst we learnt there are 7 continents in our geography classes, the French, Spanish, Latin Americans and several others learnt that there are only 5; Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and America.
Antarctica isn’t considered a continent by them, and the Americas are only viewed as one continent.
