There is a new picture I assume on the HQAC website and asoo on FB, showing cadets with white taps, which I can only deduce is for Junior cadets.

Not in AP1358c so must be a local adaptation.
Could be another glimpse of the dreaded flight identifier!!
Junior Cadets can be identified by not having uniform, and those that do not having a classification badge. Not seen any leading cadets with red taps!!
They look like flight identifiers. Quite thin.

Almost as silly as the white tabs given to SNCO’s before they go to Cranwell.
I prefer chrome plated taps.
I quite like those fancy ones which shine coloured light through the water dependant on the temperature…
