I was just wondering what it would take to teach the CAA and DMARAS on sqn as I just achieved mine.
Would I just have to put together a PowerPoint going over all of the content of the test and get everyone to do it?
There is a specific training syllabus for RPAS (drones) that has been in the works for some time, and is nearing release.
The Blue course includes DMARES, and is due to be released on 01 Dec. Obviously nothing stopping cadets doing DMARES in their own time, but I’d recommend waiting for the syllabus if you’re wanting to do it on Sqn.
Besides, the Blue course is more than just DMARES, and will also include some flying, and result in the award of the Blue aviation badge (if my understanding is correct).
