Staff meeting agenda…?

About to have my first staff meeting as OIC. Putting together the agenda. I currently have:

  • staff roles
  • training programmes
  • upcoming camps/ courses
  • promotions/ NCO team structure changes
  • handling discip issues / general welfare
  • AOB

What else do you think would be beneficial for me to add to the agenda ?

Staff development… what do people see as you needing to develop your team to be able to deliver anything on the training programme in the next X months that you can get ahead of. Or any other stuff that they want to do to enable delivery on parade nights/weekends.

Parish notices, making sure they’ve all seen the various notices from around the RAFAC that may be relevant to them.

These are my standing agenda items. I add sub items for anything specific or add additional items completely for anyrhing big. I also try and send it out a week before the meeting and ask my staff for anything they’d like to add.

After apologies, minutes, and matters arising, you could always run through the staff functions (off the top of my head, so apologies if the nomenclature isn’t current) before AOB.
