Stable belts with Leather straps

I notice that this was already asked but with all the uniform regs changing since i think its only right that i ask to make sure again.

Are RAFAC cadets allowed to wear the staple belts with double leather straps? Please only answer if you can give me a definite answer of yes or no. Cheers all!

Yes.

There are a couple of occasions this is a no

  • on formal ceremonial parades (such as Remembrance*)
  • when in No3 (Greens) uniform outside of a barrack environment, ie “in the field”

Yes thats what i saw but also it has never stated that the old style is unusable.

Firstly, I need to point out that it’s a stable belt (there are no staples in it, unless used for some kind of improvised repair).

As a private purchase item, designs change from time to time. For example, the crown on the buckle is currently incorrect and will no doubt eventually be changed on newly purchased stable belts. I don’t plan on replacing mine until I need to and I’m sure many others will feel the same.
