If you are looking for a cheep Stable belt have a look on E-bay for “Unisex RAF Belt”. I have purchased one and its spot on perfect. I have compared it to a more expensive one and there are a couple of hardly noticeable differences but not big enough to notice. At £4.90+£1.50p+p you cant go wrong.
Just to say I have no links with this company other than being a happy customer.
I can second that. I bought one because it was the cheapest way to get the buckle.
They are identical to those we purchased as a squadron from Cadet Kit Shop for twice the price.
There isn’t one.
The quality of the casting isn’t quite as sharp as either Hobson or Firmin buckles, but it’s perfectly fine, and for the price it’s a winner.

You know what? That probably means it was made in…CHINA! You unpatriotic, pro-communist…
Like most things made in the UK, it makes you wonder how they get away with charging what they do for the proper ones, other than people pay it.
But then I imagine the ‘official makers’ sub-contract to the lowest bidder and charge the premium rate, afterall it’s only business.
I ordered a large, it arrived this morning. The size states 86 to 90cm but it’s a snug fit for me at a 34" waist.
Is it me, or does the belt seem a bit narrower than normal?
