It went through the new and reformed DPSG process. The minutes of the meeting are available on the DPSG Hub under the logistics site. Multiple options were considered and this was the simplest solution. Without completing reinventing the wheel. The full DPSG meeting minutes are in review for publication in the next few days. This is how transparent the DPSG will be. Real shift change in culture for the Organisation.

The WWO community has had site of this for weeks and has had the opportunity to feedback on dead lines etc.

Impact to cost and design were discussed etc. As @JoeBloggs indicated SO2 Logs at HQAC is working to remove that cost burden from Sqns, it won’t be immediate but if you dont try you dont get!

Its not a pointless exercise, we are in a world of camps now where there are hundreds if not thousands of cadets all in No 3, we need to differentiate and identify their unit. This vision will only expand, large scale multi activity is the future vision.

Full transparency again, This was an option and discussed. Im sure @OC.1324 will agree that we need to “fix” the sea of illegal badges first before allowing them as a uniform item. Once that’s in a more stable place we will discuss again, maybe for the left blanking plate etc
