We have a number of digital copies of a graphic of our squadron crest but they’re all really low res and we can’t find a decent copy anywhere which makes getting merchandise and so on made nigh on impossible. The staff member we think who originally sorted it has moved on and is now incommunicado and I was wondering if anybody knew where we could get it re-drawn so we have high-res copies?
There are a few ways to “convert” lo-res" to hi-res" but normally there are not as good as an original hi-res image as any upscaling loses definition, etc. Not sure if a different format will help?
Any other source that may have a copy - Wg? Previous merchandise supplier?
There are a few online graphical artist forums who will do this for commission (usually university/college students) after a bit of pocket money. They will also give you various file formats so it’s definitely worthwhile.
Try searching for an artist via www.deviantart.com
There are some extreme-talented aviation/heraldry/military artists on that forum / showcase site.

I’d be happy to try my hand at “re-creating” a crest in beautiful HD.
Sorry for being useless and not replying!
