Squadron Computer AUP

Our squadron is quite well equipped with a small IT room, office with a computer for each staff member and one in each of the main teaching rooms, I am about to upgrade everything to newer computers we have been given with windows 7 etc. and the staff asked for an Acceptable Use Policy, I have drafted one up (http://www.scribd.com/doc/175941085/AUP-draft) using JSP740 as the guide as I couldn’t find one from a school to have a look at. Does anyone else have an AUP on their squadron, and if so what does it cover.

One thought - what if unit IT is required to legitimately use a site such as eBay for squadron business?

In our case, it isn’t, however I’m sure that the CO would make an exception if need be but it has never been used for squadron business before.

I haven’t bothered. I trust my staff and cadets enough for them not to use bad sites, and access to our PCs/laptops is strictly controlled anyway.
