Sports night ideas

I have been set the goal of organising a sports nigh for my squadron and would like some ideas on what to run using the equipment below or other sports activities that do not need equipment. I

The equipment we have are footballs, a frisbee, cones, baseball bat, hockey sticks and Puck.

The location we have is a medium sized sports hall that is long in length but short in width.

Many thanks Caolan

Ultimate frisbee! Always goes down well with our lot!

Combination of rugby, football & netball:
-Rugby in the sense that you must always pass forward and follow offside rules.
-Football in the sense that your aim is to get the frisbee in between posts or in a goal.
-Netball in the sense that you cannot move while in possession on the frisbee.

If you want to mix it up, add some more rules to encourage teamwork! e.g. must pass between all team members before a goal can be scored!

Frugball?

Dodgeball! UK Dodgeball Association Rules are here: https://ukdba.org/rules-regulations/

Are these sports all approved in ACP300? We all know that crab football isn’t permitted, since the recent hoo-hah!

If i were in your shoes i’d split the night into two. For the first half do dodgeball and the second ultimate frisbee. That way you will have a higher chance of pleasing everyone in the squadron.

I’m somewhat-confused that the excellent game that I always thought was Danish Longball appears not to be the game that’s officially-described on Wiki…see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danish_longball…(note that the Air Training Corps is actually name-checked in the covering text)

The version I’ve consistently played in the past never used a bat&ball, it used a netball or basketball, and we all lined-up to try & score an overhead basket in a line-up prior to going into dodgeball mode…but: the rules outlined on Wiki look fairly…familiar?

Any thoughts on all this? Much puzzlement…hmm.

Anyway, the version I remember is brilliant!
