Does anyone know how we can deliver the Community sports leader award?
Its on the list of activities but I cant find out how to go about it.
I’m not sure if the RAFAC is still delivering it centrally. I think a few wings sponsored the expensive SportsLeadersUK setup costs so they could deliver independantly of HQAC courses. But I’m not sure if many continue to do so.
Whilst CSLA offers a broad overview, you might find it more valuable to pursue sport specific NGBs. Some NGBs and community sports partnerships will sponsor coaches through their qualifications - or at least offer a bursary scheme.
I run Sports Leaders Level 1&2 at my Sqn. Took quite a bit of setting up getting the unit accredited etc but really worth it.
