Does anyone have any information on what to expect on a week long camp to RAF Spadeadam? If you have any info on events/ accommodation it’d be greatly appreciated.

Look out for the midges, they’re vicious 
Accommodation fairly basic.
Shared messing with actually pretty decent food.
Lots of radar and air defence related stuff. You might get a trip over to Boulmer (no guarantees) but if you do they run a good air battle management ‘wargame’.
Great for Fieldcraft if you have the staff.

Is the accommodation in the form of barracks? Or rooms similiar to valleys.

It’s a ‘camping barn’ separate to the main buildings. Unless it’s changed recently.
