Does anyone know of anyone that needs an assessment for this? They need to have done their core coach and discipline specific training and consolidated.
Can be an assessment for Sheltered Water Kayak Coach, Sheltered Water Canoe Coach or Sheltered Water Canoe & Kayak Coach.
When for? Is there an option to do the core coach stuff first?

So long answer…
Last part of the providership bit for Coach Award is the sign off for each element which everyone has to do - we have to do one for each element (i.e. one for Core Coach Tutor, one for Sheltered Water Tutor, one for Sheltered Water Assessor). These are expensive - in the region of £800+ for the two day courses. However completing my sign off for SW Assessor (~£200, one day) also includes the SW Tutor sign off (don’t ask - no idea) so the most efficient route to do this in terms of money and time is finding someone who has already completed their core coach & discipline specific training (probably commercially) and for me to do their assessment and get my SW Canoe / Kayak assessor & tutor sign off done that way.
Core Coach I will be planning in a course for next year to get that signed off. It won’t however be at Windermere, just for easing the logistics - ideally you need a site that has immediate access to the water with a classroom.
OK, well let me know about that. I don’t have core coach at present or any of the other discipline specific training but I might look at it for next year.
