This is rarer than finding hens teeth in rocking horse poo.
Not wanting to downplay such a rare occurrence, given it involves the ACF and many ACF county staff are involved with RFCA, may have some bearing.
They could be looking after their own to ensure minimal disruption to their operation. But if it’s a win for the ATC, crack on.
In my experience… when theyre putting two units (ostensibly ACF & ATC) into a single premises, things tend to work fairly well.
When its sorting out issues with a sole use ATC building, things are a bit rocky…
Nice to hear things working well rather than the usual horror stories though…
But I must admit, I am waiting for the front of my (120 year old +) building to collapse into the street for want of minor repair, or a cadet slip on the bare concrete smooth as glass step and crack their skull open - luckily I have a lengthy email trail as exhibit A of my Defence…
But don’t you think it comes to something when someone HAS or feels it is necessary to make special mention of it?
This should be normal, regardless of it being ATC or ACF. But for many of us the experience of dealing with RFCA isn’t as pleasant.
If I use a service or go somewhere and don’t feel it has met my expectations in terms of service etc, I don’t go back. But like so many parts of the MOD we deal with, where we are the customer in all honesty if we had anywhere else to go, would we actually go back to them? They don’t care about the ‘customer experience’ because they know we have nowhere else to go.
I would just like to complement the RFCA team from Cardiff.
Yes, seriously !
We have just moved our Unit from a commercial dockyard to a shared site with the ACF
They have been very helpful and approachable and dealt with issues promptly.
Thank you :cheer:
After 10 years, two OCs constant complaining and lots of sitting on hands? There are two ACCers that will disagree with you.
After the decision was made perhaps they were quick. To make this decision and this was probably not only the fault of RFCA this has been a sorry affair in the ACO.
