Anyone know the procedure?
Say if we sent a cadet to A+E/minor injuries just for a check up, what would you need paperwork-wise, and who would you send it to?

Personally, I’d look at ACP 5, Annex N - Accident Reporting Diagram, possibly fill in a MOD Form 492, as an Injury or Ill Health report if applicable.
Mod form 492, send to your Wing HQ.
The attending doc has to sign off part of it as well.
Or… palm them off on their parents and hey presto - nil paperwork! (i.e. if theyve turned up at the unit feeling unwell)

Also, flag to WHQ who may need to raise RIDDOR depending on the circumstances.
Oh well, clearly I haven’t broken enough cadets!
“sending a cadet to hospital” sounds terribly aggressive, old chap…
Could be worse, could have been Coventry
MOD 492, attach risk assessment for the activity - assuming they were taking part in one at the time - and send to WHQ (the form, not the cadet, that would indeed be a punishment banned under the human rights act)
If just a general ‘I don’t feel well, I need medical help’ type scenario, give parents a ring, let them collect and do as they wish from there.
