One of my (many) gripes is that we can receive payments and have no idea what they’re for. This keeps tracking payments due/paid and calculating tax quite tricky.
However, I appreciate that there probably is a way to access remittances, and that it just hasn’t been shared effectively. Can anyone help?
Defence Gateway has a section for pay (VA), there was an ability to get to expenses claims too, but that now appears to have been removed for some reason.
Someone asked this a while ago in VoP and the response was basically look at your bank and the payee is different between VA, for those that get it, and HtD/mileage.
I have spreadsheets and photos of all claims and reconcile them but it is a real pain that they stopped sending the remittance slips
VA is fine as that comes via Defence Gateway. My gripe is travel - none of my payments match my claims and I have no idea what has been paid or not and why they don’t match…
