Does anyone have any contact details for the regional activity centre at RAF Wyton? The MOD operator was completely clueless…

Does anyone know if they use appropriately qualified civilian instructors?

I went to RAF Wyton a couple of months ago on a Pre-Gliding Scholarship course. The instructors of the flight simulators were all B-grade glider pilots. The course was interesting and exciting since we got to fly a solo circuit ourselves after only 2 hours training. Definitely recommend it to anyone considering going on a GS. :mrgreen:

They have a RAC at wyton??? Since when? What have they got there?

There has been a RAC at Wyton for some years now, it was one of the early ones, not sure what’s in it though.
