Referral back to the archives

As I had a couple of posts in the Archive, before the new Beta version appeared, I shall give their links here. The first concerns the Chipmunk:

I wonder if anyone remembers Chipmunk WD347 which flew with 11 AEF in 1969, before going to be part of the CFS Skylarks aerobatic team. Did anyone here get a ride in it? It is now flying with a Historic Aviation group in Lausanne, Switzerland, and I am converting back onto it after many years of being away from Chipmunk flying.
It’s a real pleasure. I shall attach a photo of it, now back in its former CFS colours.

The other my quest to find one of our officers when I was in 115 Peterborough sqd ATC:

[i]I am trying to find out what happened to Flt Lt J B Stephens, a Lincoln pilot with 7 Sqd at Upwood in 1955. I have tried 7 Sqd Association and various other possible leads, but cannot find him. From the 1975 RAF Retired List I have found:
John Booth Stephens commissioned 27/06/51. Flt Lt 27/12/54. Retired GD 14/01/69. I also have his sevice number.

Why I am interested in “Stevie” is that he was a regular instructor while I was a cadet. I manged to get a few hours in Lincolns thanks mainly to him. The photo below, that was sent to me by Tony Ainsby, shows him stuck in Singapore: he is just visible, leaning against the propeller in the background. Nice picture of the Lincoln, anyway! Note the deadly ladder to the cockpit. I fell off one of those one day!
Can anyone help? Thanks

Administrators: can they be merged I wonder?

I’m bringing the archives back online in the next day or so, so we might be able to figure something out once I’ve done that.
