CAC indicated at our Wing Conference they (HQAC) were working on getting “a big slot” in a item on Comic Relief/Red Nose Day and even mentiond Sleaford.
a brief view of “life on a Squadron” (lessons and drill) with what i presume half the Wing turning up to spell RND on the lawn at the Cranwell College.
the theme of the challenge was “team work” which came across if only because Helen repeated it over and over!
given the format and the primary aim it was a great piece of publicity although doubt we’ll have potential recruits knocking down the doors next week…if only because Blue Peter’s average age of viewers i predict will be below 13yrs3
