RAFBF support for RAFAC

I’ve just looked at the RAF Benevolent fund website https://www.rafbf.org/air-cadets to try and find out more about the 80 miles challenge and noticed this statement:

“We are proud to offer an enhanced package of welfare support for the RAF Air Cadets, including members of the Combined Cadet Force. Support includes emotional wellbeing, counselling and bereavement support, as well as financial support if a member is killed, on or off duty. This also extends to staff cadets and uniformed volunteers”

Some digging found this page https://www.rafbf.org/how-we-help/serving-raf/support-for-raf-air-cadets which gives more information.

I’m not sure I agree about some of it needing to go via the safe guarding officer, e.g. headspace as that is probably useful for many people but I imagine that’s a cost thing? I know I certainly would like it but I can’t afford it. I thought I’d share it though in case anyone needs, or knows anyone who needs any of these services.
