Afternoon All,
Who has been on Annual Camp at RAF Cranwell? What was it like? What did you do? is there room in the program to do your own activities?
Replies will be appreciated!

Hi,
Was up there for Easter Camp a couple of weeks ago.
The program was ok, but plenty of free space to put your own activities in. Talk to the guyrs at 45R Sqn, they were brilliant, flew all of our cadets over the course of the week. Trips to Lincoln and RAF Waddington filled slots and we took ours swimming and go-karting.

Was CC there last Autumn. Off the top of my head the programme was something like
Sat - Arrivals / Fam Ex
Sun - Duxford Trip / Evening Sports
Mon - Station Section Visits / CHOM Tour / Camp Photo / Evening Bowling
Tues - ATC / Fire Section Visits / Afetnoon CCs Discretion (We went to Lincoln) / Evening CCs Discretion (Did a quiz)
Weds - 45 Sqn Visit / Swimming / Evening Sports
Thu - Range Day (Was at waddo) - You might be able to make a contact with a certain ACC’r for a section visit or two (I’m not sure if Cranwell has its own 25m range again?)
Fri - BBMF Trip / RAF Outreach Team / Evening Disco
Sat - PUFO
Of course all of this might be subject to change - it was a great camp and you also have use of the RAC (Its in the building you stay in) to fill time etc.
