Or maybe the same but with the shackles off - we don’t know!
Sorry but who cares what she thinks.
Shes out.
She needs to just shut up and keep it to herself.
Is she not a CI now and therefore entitled to an opinion like any CFAV?
Any new accounts signed up here recently…?
Perhaps she is on here? Any new members joined at the end of September or the Beginning of October?
this was certainly her plan, but given she stepped down just after lockdown, although very much in the middle of our “F2F ban” has there been chance to formally appoint her as a CI yet?
I believe the house move would have been in lockdown and although the local units known about, and WExO still working, would it be anyone’s top prority to be appointed into an organisation which isn’t (very) active when the rest of the world (and her own domestic situation) would be taking a higher priority?
that said, i agree DMcC is as entitled to a view as a CFAV or “civilian” as much as anyone else…
She is appointed, had stated the process pre lockdown.
Last night she completed the MH and Resilience Train the Trainer course
Yes she can have an opinion.
But hers comes with the presumed weight of being former CAC.
She should shut up and let her replacement do his job.
If she were a ‘normal’ CI.
It wouldnt be an issue as fewer people would…
A. Receive it.
B. Listen to it.
She is in a unique position, should realise that and act accordingly.
A bit like the former Pope who stood down.
She asked a question and is entitled to do so.
Nothing more or less than we do regularly. Saying she should “shut up” (repeatedly) is not constructive and is verging on aggressive.
Tone it down.
Maybe she should have had the nouse to direct her question to the new Commandant rather than make it an open question on SM?
Or has the new CAC previously told her to wind her neck in?..
She’s only doing what other CFAVs do on SM, including staff on here under a pseudonym, and the CoC do nothing about it
But she’s not just another CFAV, she may now be a CI but she was the Commandant and as such there is a certain level of decorum that would be expected, especially this close to handing over.
i stand corrected
I hope they make her to AVIP.
And an interview with a sector officer
And a DBS with the MOD paper form
And a BPSS in person
Then waiting 3+ months for all that paperwork to go through
All before attending any cadet events
Then all the e-learning
And finally AVIP
Just for the full experience of being a new volunteer
Pretty sure she started it a long time before standing down
aaaaaaaand topic.
