On summer camp at shawbury our TEST SNCO was wearing a “RAF 100 stable belt” I was wondering, firstly, if cadets are allowed to wear this and, secondly, where to find this and, finally, if there are any more items of uniform with RAF 100 insignia
A what now?
An “RAF 100” stable belt
Yes I can read - however I have no clue what you mean by an RAF100 stable belt. What differentiated it from the standard RAF one?
It simply has the text “royal air force 100” around the centre of the belt
It sounds completely awful. Even if you could wear it, why would you want to?
For the same reason I love wearing uniform, pride in the cadets and RAF
What’s wrong with just wearing a normal stable belt?
Presumably, it doesn’t have “RAF 100” on it!
I already do, it’s just something I’m curious in
It’s not a legit bit of kit. Your TEST SNCO is breaking dress regulations
Is there no uniform made for RAF 100?
Nope.
Shame, I really like the idea
But as soon as 2018 ended it’s out of date. Awful idea.
Just draw a “1” over the second “0” with a sharpie. Job done.
Itll be 3rd party tat trying to make a profit out of it
Tacky.
Instead, we need the digits to be on rotating wheels so that any year from 000 to 999 can be dialled in. That way its possible relevance will outlive its physical integrity (and the RAF!)
Our short lived friend on Twitter would have had a coronary
I have literally never heard of it.
Nor, apparently, has Google.
In the whole year of RAF 100 celebration, and all the time since, I’ve never seen such a thing.
