Quick Questions…

Luke the others have said, we normally just request new ones rather than repair or recondition uniform.

The modern uniform we are issued with is so cheap and nasty, that I’d be fairly confident in saying that you will not be the only one with this issue.

That said, I get your reluctance to wear it at the Sqn. Have a look at eBay for new and nearly new shirts. I’d imagine that you’ll be able to pick up a shirt for almost the same price as a pack of dye.

Also worth bearing in mind that dark blue (No. 2C) shirts will be end of line soon, as the RAF, RN, and SCC have all stopped using them. If you take other ATC-only items, like cap badges, brassards, sqn number badges, etc, as examples then the future isn’t bright for working blue shirts.

No I haven’t, Would that work?

@Giminion would you be kind enough to recommend the type needed for dark working blue no 3 shirt please? Just so i stay uniformed with others.

Just ask your staff for a new one. They will not mind, and if they do it is more of an indicator of their character than yours

Ehh I only ever use the store brand oxy powder that says it’s for coloured clothes.

I would look at it this way - you have a potentially ruined shirt so how much damage can you do?

Is there an easy way to reset my 2FA for defence gateway? Currently set to use authenticator app on a phone that was not backed up :sob:

You have to get in touch with the contact listed for the RAF on GW but they are pretty good at responding, did mine in under 2 hours.

Anyone got a direct dial for accounts at HQ? The number I have has gone OOS

Most of the old fixed voice landlines are being disconnected whenever there’s an IT upgrade, office renovation, etc: meaning you have to rely on Skype for incoming voice calls. The problem then is that the Skype numbers are individually assigned and so the number changes with the post holder.

Has spotify died for everyone else, or just me? Having to work without music is rather boring!

That’s when I finish lunch which is avec it stopped working for me!

I’ve had it working for the past 30 mins for me, but wasn’t trying to access it before that time.

I just moved over to an offline playlist, and that seems to be working fine.
