Quick Questions…

Hi, does anyone have a link to any videos of people performing a razzle dazzle while marching. Is there any specific timings for it? I it an actual thing in cadets/cadet documents?
Thanks

QQ: I’ve been asked to secure quotes for civil liability insurance (yes, believe it or not, the organisation doesn’t have any…) however whenever I try to look online I’m just directed to definitions rather than anywhere that I can enquire.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can go about securing a quote?

Performing a what??

Razzle dazzle- where you turn and like move your fingers like sparkles while marching

I can assure you the “razzle dazzle” is not a defined drill movement in AP818

Well it should be! :joy::joy:

I don’t know what others were talking about then. Surely there’s a YouTube link

I think you’ll find it’s a real drill move, ass seen demonstrated here.

Thanks. Now I’m reminded that I miss the No.4.

We used to do drill - with bayonets - with the No 4! :open_mouth:

I was taught rifle drill by a one armed WO.

His Queen Mary Salute was outstanding.

SMLEs,
No bayonets
Slings blanco’d and brasso’d!

Have you asked the miscreants who told you that it’s a drill move for a video/manual reference?

Yep, had those too - I remember a rather cold guard of honour on Sandown Pier, waiting for the Queen Mum to arrive / inspect everyone. Our very specific (on pain of death) orders were to faint forwards, not backwards, otherwise a rifle might go underneath the railings into the sea!

No-one fainted.

He taught me banner drill!

Is he still around / does corps cere wo still exist as a role? It was another of those HQAC roles that wasn’t very visible…
