Public Funded Collective Travel to AEF in Non-Service Aircraft

And I thought they were going to fly us to the AEF .

Funny old thing how the English language.

Has 2FTS finally given about flying in non service aircraft?

This is simply saying that for those sites OC2FTS has approved, you can now claim travel rather than relying on the goodwill of squadrons or parents or staff to take cadets.

Or at least that’s how I read it.

How very magnanimous of them. But, to be honest, i doubt its lack of authorization of public funding - or the volume of goodwill from volunteers and parents - which has stopped us getting Air Cadets in the Air.

I think its shoddy leadership, lack of respect for civilian gliding clubs, risk aversion and overburdening administrative hoops eminating from the glorious ivory towers and shiney new hangers of 2FTS which has stopped it.

Sorry; paused it.

Bloody long ‘pause’.

How long has it been now? Over 3 years?

I’m currently going through a pause in believing that any of this baleful bunch of oxygen thieves could find their fundaments with both hands…
