(IIRC) Officially, two years undetected crime for Flying Officer. My wing had extra requirements similar to those for Sgt to FS.
Then further 7 (total 9) to Flt Lt.
If that’s not right I’m happy to be corrected.

Is that from commission date or completion of ATF?
based on my experience appointment date (the date of my board). due to personal circumstances (final year of university) I didnt get to ATF until 18 months after my board
Same, it was backdated to two years after the date of my commission.
Hqac automatically send a form to be signed by oc sqn and wg cdr after two years of commission.
9 years after date of commission unless put into the position of OC Squadron and on successful completion of Officers Senior Course at CWL.
By the book you don’t need to have completed the Squadron Commanders Course, once you are confirmed in command you should go up to Flt Lt (acting unpaid), once you complete the course you become a Flt Lt (acting paid). However some wings try to prevent/just don’t tell you that you’ve been promoted.
