great contribution . . .
I’m just highlighting how sometimes you all seem to go in hard on people and actually those people might be talking some sense or things might not be as simple as you all think.
All be it I was highlighting in a crass way.
Comms problem finally fixed, with it going directly on to SharePoint and then emailed.
Yes! Getting the email from RAFAC announcements rather than a slow chain. This is how it should be and hopefully how it will carry on.
Must say I was impressed to see it in my mail before hearing about it on here!
ACC to be redundant soon!?
Question though; Did this actually get emailed out to every account or did I just get the email as I have subscribed to the announcements section?
Chancellor Rishi Sunak has extended the furlough scheme for one month until the end of April next year.
In preparation of the January national lockdown 3.0?
Will that actually be a lockdown or just a fake one like 2.0?
I’m looking forward to schools recruiting all these new staff - probably through DWPs KickStart scheme - to support the mass testing in schools.
My money is on February (Although it was a close call between then or March)
Already confirmed for 28 December in Wales
As long as it actually has some impact this time I’m fine with it, the case numbers here at the moment are horrendous.
Eugh, even more time that I can’t go to Wales. FFS.
No email here…
But at least at it’s on sharepoint.
Must not have been an email then, but those who have a notification set up will get it.
As a PSA, if you go to sharepoint and click on announcements then click the three dots, then alert me then you can set up notifications.
There was a BADER announcement email sent around 1510
Oh yeah, I forget that push notifications go to the ‘other inbox’. Looks like it was added to sharepoint at 1456, and then emailed out separately to all at 1509.
Not got this somewhere in your inbox then?
Would be really weird if you didn’t and should be investigated
Yeah, @Paracetamol that one should have gone to everyone! If you didn’t get that email it might be a good idea to raise a help desk ticket email the helpdesk email someone?
If you can get through to the halfwits who seem to think they can go anywhere and do whatever regardless, then things might change. But you can see the same people doing all sorts over the next two weeks, like they did in the summer and we’ll be back in a lock down. We’ve had 21st Jan as the day on the noticeboard in the office, since the 2nd Dec. But this is looking like we may have given too much credibility to our fellow Britons using common sense and working to the advice. So here’s to the 7th.
NIs just announced a 6 week lockdown starting 26 Dec.
