Parachute course?

I had one great summer and then ran out of time/money to keep going.

That’s what happens when you don’t have an SME writing the regs I guess.

Will the cadets who have recently done the course and jump at Netheravon have to remove their badges?

Er, no, cos that would be silly?

Ever stopped HQAC?

So that’s a yes then!

Pretty sure they don’t care.

Will they ever see a real-life cadet, let alone someone wearing jump wings :man_shrugging:t2:

I imagine they’ve got bigger fish to fry than telling young kids to take a badge off their brassard….

You would think and then you would remember some of the little Nazi’s out there

The radio ACTO specifically mentions removal of badges if assessed by an unauthorised person…

There’s no 'assessment" for the parachuting babe bit though it’s there? Just complete a course then jump out a plane and slow down enough before you hit the ground!

I could give them an assessment, the pass mark is pretty low though

Fixed. ta :grimacing::sweat_smile:

Hypothetically speaking if someone were to successfully bale out of a tutor or Viking would they qualify for the badge? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No.
Because the badge requires the instruction course and successful jump.

r/whoosh?

Surely if you walk a way from a landing you’ve passed :man_shrugging:t2:

Trick question. You can’t bale out if you never get airborne in the first place.

You can. I refer you to the study published on here recently about how a parachute has no impact on survival rates.
