Looking for some help, we’ve got some time to kill on camp in the next few days and I was looking to see if anyone had a copy of a paper-based logistics exercise. The one I’m thinking of is a humanitarian relief ex with a c-17 a whole bunch of kit that weights different amounts and you have to get it to the island with as few trips as possible and in the right timescale.
Does anyone a] know what I’m on about b] have a copy they can email me? To 1990sqncomms[at]gmail.com
I once had one for Umberland which was acquired from a friendly person at Spadeadam - it was quite intense for the cadets - so we abandoned it (and I - stupidly - left it at Sqn and have not seen it since!).
HOWEVER, I did tweak it into a mapping exercise whereby we looked at Google Image of the area, and they had to make OS type maps of it… not quite logistics problems, but did bring in quite a lot of nav skills which they’d not used it that way before.
I did the Motor Officer one on the link below with my cadets and they were able to cope fairly well with it. There is also a Humanitarian Relief one a bit further down.
