For this reason you absolutely should pay for a proper embroidered officers cap badge, it just looks so much better

Okay, I’ll give it a go. Any recommendations on suppliers for an embroidered beret and/or chip hats? Don’t particularly want to break the bank but don’t mind paying for a quality product - especially if I can avoid sewing it on myself - I just know I’ll angle it badly haha.

But the one to get if you can is the ‘Commando’ beret from French company Laulhere
I got my badge from Windsor so can’t really help with that
The only thing I’ve ever bought from Extortion Direct is my chip bag. Decent price, good quality. Probably not as good as you’d get from a proper tailor but I have zero complaints
I bought a Snaiths beret with the nice silk lining as a cadet a good few years ago and it’s still going strong (but I do wear it as little as I possibly can - berets are awful things)
