Notified when cadets get place on events?

I am assuming there is currently no way to be notified when cadets apply and then get a place on courses and events? An issue which i know alot of people struggle with is firstly it can bebreally difficult to know when cadets and what cadets are bidding on events and then which cadets get a place and then attend events without going into having to check every single event or course.

IT can be frustrating I know also for staff and the event DS when squadrons have to make their travel declaration and ACTO training comments. It would be way better if bader automatically notified us when a cadet gets a place on a course. As uou also have the other issue of you dont know where your cadets are and then if they actually attend the course. Some DS of the event will notify you but that’s a very small amount. This also must be even more challenging with the bigger squadrons keeping track of more cadets.

I hope this is a feature they will bring in to bader at some point.

Another feature that would be good is if there was a way for staff to be notified when a cadet’s heat/cold and first aid training expires. This can be another thing hard ti keep track of when they all have different expiry dates.

Bader sends an email to the OC account every time a cadet signs up for / or withdraws from an event.

This is exceptionally useless as you just get micromanagement & loads of notifications of when cadets do the hokey-kokey for events so these are now just automated deleted from my mailbox.

Better option would be a single email to adjs (who have a better handle on course sign ups rather than the OC) when the deadline of the event is reached.

Correct, other than OC as already mentioned

What is this?

Easy solution to this.

Activity IC communicates (Email / Mail Drop) that the event exists on SMS and needs to be shared on Cadet Portal, at the same time as sharing on CP the travel declaration is completed.

but the oc doesn’t get informed either what cadets get a place on a course though do they?
