Yeh, I know I buck the trend in that respect
Doing cadet work at work is a hole I dug myself out of a few years ago and not one I am going to reopen.
@anon9987823 I had a similar position, which was fine until I found while not overly suffering in terms of doing my paid work, it was easy to do cadet stuff and lose yourself in it. I was mindful of a bloke who had been caught not doing what he was paid for over what he wasnât. One day he came in, invited to meet the personnel manager, presented with the evidence, given 30 minutes to get his personal bits and was then escorted off sitem never to be seen again.
I had to declare that I wouldnât - but it doesnât stop me!
