there’s quite some time since we’ve had a new member of staff join our Sqn. Please could someone refresh my memory as to how I get them started. I’m sure we used to add them as applicant but I can’t find a way to do that at the moment? If there is a step by step document floating about even better. Thanks
So on Volunteer Portal go to personnel and applicant staff. From there you can select the type of applicant.
They then accept a link and set up a profile while your wing / region pillar lead will send the DBS and other stuff.
I still hand them a physical BPSS which needs returning and scanning etc. I can’t wait for this to be digitised because it really holds up new staff, especially if they struggle to take the form to the people they need to fill it out.
