Hi guys, first time posting in a while. I’m one of 4 SNCO’s on my sqn, and all of them have a specialisation, and 2 of them train and develop a team. I’ve always wanted to specialise in a subject, and develop a team, but things like drill and band have been taken up already. Does anybody have some team/specialisation ideas I can propose to my OC?
Do you have a flight sim or an interest in that type of thing? There’s also going to be esports in the near future, and cadets can also instruct radio (if they have the right badge).
Or maybe shadow the staff member who looks after greens activities or AT, act as their ‘demo troop’ and get the quals when you’re able to (assuming you’re not already a staff cadet).

Are you a Staff Cadet and do you have any Silver/Gold badges?

I’ve got silver marksman (I’ve got a feeling that won’t be much use though), silver cyber and silver leadership. Not a staff cadet just yet, but I’ve just gotten my MOI if that helps.
You could become the Blue Leadership Trainer or undergo a Bronze Cyber Instructor Course and become your Bronze Cyber Trainer?

I’ve heard about those train the trainer courses, but I’ve heard they’re fairly uncommon too?
For the Cyber, liaise with your Wing Cyber Officer - our Wing runs these at least twice per year. For the Blue Leadership, I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure you can assess Blue as long as you have Bronze or above - so you should be ok there.
