NASA Perseverance Rover Landing

For those who don’t know NASAs new Mars rover is landing this evening. NASA are running a live stream covering the event which may interest some of you!

Amazing, thanks for this.

Do you reckon it will make it first time or will they have to try again and again and again and again and again and again until they eventually get it right?

At least it’s not called insanity! (assuming that was a pun on Perseverance??)

Also as an FYI to all, actual touch down I believe is due at about 2100hrs. (about 1h 17m from this post)

Was that not clear enough? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’ve had a few beers :grimacing: No judging! :joy: I love all things space so this is an exciting evening for me!

Also here’s a link to the simulation:

There is a ‘live’ button to see what’s happening now!

Remember that tango advert; is it just me, or are things getting a little. Bit. Tense.

All very exciting

Times like this when having too many monitors helps… Watching NASA, Everyday Astronaut and NASASpaceFlight all at once as not to miss anything

I mainly enjoy Tim of EA getting overly excited about space.
