Quick question, does anyone know if the photo has to be in uniform, doesn’t say so on the form. Just I’m tight and want to use the same photo for driving licence renewal as well.
In No2A dress without headdress.
So just do them all in uniform…? And put a uniform photo on your driving licence? It’s only a shirt & tie!
Yeah, the MoD90 photo has to be exactly as stated on the form but you’re pretty free with the drivers licence, so just get the photos done as per the MoD90 instructions.
If you’ve already done the driving licence photo then you’ll have to fork over some beer tokens…
They are very strict. I sent a photo in with my uniform on but without a tie and they sent it back. :?
And no rank slides.
The photo should be cropped to the bottom of the tie knot so it is unlikely you’d see rank slides anyway.
The passport photo machine that I used kept auto cropping the tie out of the picture no matter how high up I sat on the stool - even to the point where it started to crop my forehead but still cropped out the tie.
I gave up, I figured that the closed neck and the top of the epaulettes was enough to prove that I was in 2A…
Also the machine highlighted the shadows under my bottom lip and under my nose to look like I’ve got 5o’clock shadow.
I was convinced it was going to get rejected…
Shirt and tie? I think mine is of me in a t-shirt, or at most a random polo shirt.
When I had mine taken for my 1250 at Halton we had a shirt on with a clip on tie while in our pants we all did it lol
As for driving licence mine is a photo of me in uniform as I did my license through the RAF
