Emphasising the overall goal of the programme, the notice stipulates that it is “essential that each student should finish training with a renewed enthusiasm for aviation. ”
Is there an assumption that having had 6-7 years as an Air Cadet, their broad enthusiasm for flying might have waned through lack of access to it… #thetruthhurts

Wasn’t the Tayside contract for 200 students per year?
aimed at Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) aged 18 to 19 years
My underline - why that age?
if we’re starting a new tender, start from where we want the scheme to be not where it left of from the old contract.
it would seem this wording is accepting Cadets flying to solo standard isn’t an option for U18s unless via a VGS…
also is this a typo?

Risk involved with unaccompanied children in overnight accommodation are not ALARP… New tender, new rules.
Doing what is easy, rather than what the organisation used to do well…
