Master cadet exams

Hi
Can someone do their master cadet exams under the age of 15 and then be present with the badge when they turn 15. I remember reading somewhere that you can do that but I have asked the staff and they say oh no you have to be 15 to do exams.
Can someone clear this up please

Theres no technical restriction apart from a really stubborn training officer not setting you up to do them but you should be 15 to do them

from ACTO 020:
17. To achieve Master RAF Air Cadet, subjects may be taught, and online assessments undertaken prior to the cadet reaching 15 years of age. However, cadets will not receive their Master RAF Air Cadet status, or the BTEC, until they reach 15 years of age.
